December 24, 20232 yr Hello all, and Merry Christmas! Here is the issue I have. My UnRaid server has been running well for a long time. The other night, it crashed on me. I still have yet to ascertain the reason. I checked the logs and there was nothing I could make sense of that would point to the issue. I also had a friend who uses Unraid look, and he didn't find anything either that would point to the issue. I am hoping someone here might be able to give answers, and maybe give me some advice on how to proceed. I am on 6.11.5, but I have plans to upgrade soon once this issue is in the rearview. December 24, 20232 yr Community Expert The syslog in the diagnostics is the RAM copy and only shows what happened since the reboot. It could be worth enabling the syslog server to get a log that survives a reboot so we can see what happened prior to the reboot.

There's a bunch of files in there and I'm not sure which one you need. Could you give me some advice on which one to upload?

December 26, 20232 yr Community Expert There's a call trace logged, but can't see what caused it, could be hardware related, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
