How does it behave if you try to create folders in \\tower\disk1 ?

Can you see your Music folder in the disk1 location? Can you create folders there?

Thats where I have been trying to create folders/move files Is there somewhere else I should be doing it?

I just installed the newest beta and get the same errors

do I need a new board?

It could be the NIC. Try an Intel 1000Mbps PCI NIC. Get one that you can return if it's not needed.

I can copy to the flash drive no problem though.. I just copied 1gb worth of stuff to there to test.. do you still think its the nic card?

Use teracopy to copy files and then you can see if there's any corruption.
