VM Console with VNC on a MacOS does not accept @ and \ characters

Recommended Posts

I use a Macbook as a client. and have the problem that I can't enter @ and \ characters in the VNC console connections.

However, this is only the case in the UNRAID VNC sessions. With Teamviewer or with Rustdesk on the identical VM, I can enter the @ and \ characters.

I use a German keyboard and a German keyboard is also configured in the VM.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?
