FYI on ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM (UPDATE: Level 1 Tested)

Featured Replies

Just a quick FYI that this motherboard works fine for me for unRAID.  I started out with this mobo and a single SASLP-MV8 and 10 drives total.  It has now been relegated to a backup unRAID setup that's just used for preclearing drives at the moment.

Update:  Syslog attached confirming level 1 tested

Thanks for the report!  If you are able to, please go through the steps to get this board Level 1 Certified.

This also board uses the Realtek 8111E NIC.  Are you running unRAID 5.0beta12a?  That NIC has proven to be unstable with unRAID 4.7, but some are having success with the latest beta.

Again my bad - I'm using 4.7.  No issues with the NIC on this one either.  I'll have to find some extra HDDs to do level 1 on this one, but I will try to do so.

Updated to reflect level 1 tested on unRAID 4.7

Also I copied about 400GB data to this temporary setup over the network from my Windows 7 PC using the mobo's built-in Realtek NIC.

Hello,

How is the board holding up? I am thinking about getting one just wanted to see if you have had any issue with it; and would you recommend me getting this board?

Many Thanks
