jungle
Looking to see if any one knows what is happening here. Getting this message "Failed to receive server postmessage data from your Unraid server." when I tried to take a look at the new OS update feature and when it punches out to the review page I can see the OS versions available and then about 5 seconds later it kicks to this message/screen. If I go to Update OS in the Tools menu it just hangs and nothing shows up. I just updated the Unraid Connect plugin right before trying this. Diagnostics attached if needed. nasir-diagnostics-20240110-0800.zip Link to comment
weilkevin
I've just come across the exact same issue. Link to comment
jungle
It seems to work if I do it from https://MyServerIP.SuperLongHash.myunraid.net/Dashboard vs the tab via https://connect.myunraid.net/server/ Edited January 12 by jungle Link to comment
jungle
Nope, seems to be back to giving me the error message Link to comment
NightOps
Having same issue, didn't see your thread until after I posted. Any updates? Link to comment
jungle
Only thing I can get to work is by doing the OS Update check when the webpage is https://MyServerIP.SuperLongHash.myunraid.net/Dashboard and maybe 75% of the time it won't kick to the error message. Still not trying the update yet - I'm on 6.12.3 Link to comment
NightOps
I'm on 6.12.6 - I don't think it's the Unraid update, but rather the Unraid Connect plugin... Link to comment
jungle
Yea I just meant I am not going to try to update in case there is some kind of communication issue and I get FUBAR'd in the middle. Link to comment
m33ts4k0z
Hello, Just wanted to add myself to the users experiencing this issue. I am using the WAN domain to access the web Unraid UI. Haven't tried accessing it through LAN though. Link to comment
JA
I had the same issue but managed to resolve by deleting the certificate from the UNRAID Settings/ManagementAccess page and then doing another "provision". After this I was able to reconnect to UNRAID Connect via the plugin. Link to comment
jungle
I just tried this but I'm still getting the message after checking for an update. Link to comment
JA
Hi. Yes, I get that too. My problem was I couldn't login to the UNRAID connect without the error whereas now I can. I initially thought the update error was one and the same but clearly not. I'll post another update if I make more progress. Link to comment
