Recovering Flash Drive Backup from CA Appdata Backup?

Featured Replies

I have been using an UNRAID server for less than a year, but I still feel like a newbie as I am still discovering new things everyday.

Last december, I upgraded to version 6.12.5 of UNRAID and started doing daily backup of my dockers using CA App Backup. One of the option I selected was to do a Flash Drive backup at the same time.

There was an blackout this morning. My flash drive died and I have no other backup. It was not until then that I realize I should have kept an external copy of the flash drive outside the server.

I have ordered a new flash drive that I should get in a few days, but in the meantime is there a way to get into the server and get a copy of the flash drive backup information that should have been done with CA App Backup? Anyway to use a temporary flash drive?

I simply hope to be able to restart the whole thing the easiest way possible. Any help or suggestion is welcome.

If I access the server with a trial key, where should I look for the backup of my Flash Drive?

I don't know where you saved the backup.

I had my backups saved on an unassigned drive.

Login into the server with the trial key, I have been able to retrieve the flash drive backup and it was done two days ago.

Now, I just have to copy the zip content over a newly formatted USB drive and I'm done?

Should be, assuming the backup is OK.

Thank you for your help.

It may be basic stuff, but I am just afraid to mess anything.
