Unraid Server has been stable for 3+ years, now it crashes within 2 days

Featured Replies

I turned on logging to the flash drive, but I don't know what I am looking for.

This is rough, but ever since new years, my super stable server can't make it more than 2 or 3 days before it crashes again.  The GUI is down, no SMB access, no remote access, and dockers with direct IP access (like Plex and Krusader) are down.   When I connected a monitor to it, the screen has a command prompt.

If sharing diagnostic files here would be helpful, please let me know which ones.

I've attached a screen shot of what I found in the log folder

Here are the tower-diagnostics

I really hope someone can help.  I can't seem to make it through a parity check.  (and I have tried canceling the parity check and it still crashed 36 hours later)

You are having what look like power/connection issues with two pool devices:

(sdm) Samsung_SSD_860_EVO_250GB_S3YHNX0K828621Z
(sdn) Samsung_SSD_860_EVO_1TB_S3Z8NB0KC45678M

Check/replace cables, as for the hanging try booting in safe mode and/or closing any browser windows open to the GUI, only open when you need to use it then close again.

Thank you JorgeB for looking into this for me.   I will swap out those cables as soon as possible.    I'm thinking they may be the only devices on the motherboard's sata, but I wont know for sure until I open it up.

So you mean I shouldn't leave 20 tabs open to different apps I have on unraid?  EEKS   I've been doing that for years.

Recently that has been causing issues for some users, it's worth a try to see if it helps.
