Macmini8.1 GPU UHD630 Passthrough 43 in Windows but working well in Ubuntu.

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I got a Mac mini 2018 model to work as server by Unraid. It works so perfect for me apart from if I want to passthrough the iGPU UHD630 to VM Windows11 or Windows 10. It shows code43 all the time. I have tried all of solutions that I can find from Google however, it does't solve my problem at all.

I found a solution that mentioned, if boot Unraid by legacy not uefi, then it will have a better support for iGPU passthrough. Unfortunately, Mac mini 2018 supports uefi  boot only.

I accidentally tried to install Ubuntu in VM with iGPU passthrough and surprisingly the monitor was turned on by the iGPU HDMI port, and whole thing works perfectly.

Any idea how to solve this pain?  Much appreciated !
