No Link Lights on GIGABYTE AMD B550 board

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I'm finally at my wits end. I have an AMD system that now has no ethernet connection. I was using the system fine, took it down to move some hard drives onto a PCI sata card, and when I brought it back up no link lights and no connectivity. Ive been trying to fight my way through Arch commands as someone with moderate knowledge of linux systems but Im just at a loss.

It looks like it might be related to the WOL issue the r8169 drivers sometimes generate (no link lights, no connectivity) with r8111 family drivers but I dont even know what Ive done at this point to get to where eth0 will show from ifconfig with 0 tx/rx packets.

Thanks for any help!

The Realtek NIC drive is blacklisted, delete /config/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf on the flash drive and reboot
