January 16, 20242 yr Hi, loving Unraid but getting it and Jellyfin in the same week has been a learning curve to say the least! Last hurdle is for me to allow outside connections to Jellyfin. I can do and have tested opening up a straight 8060 port and that worked fine. I'm told using a reverse proxy would be my best best. So I open up ports 80 and 443 on my Hub. Register with Duck DNS but when I put in the following code (I guess via the Caddy app from the logo): caddy reverse-proxy --from placeholder.duckdns.org --to 192.168.0.59:8096 But I get some kind of error about not issuing a certificate. Am I doing something wrong? Can someone explain it to me like I'm 10 lol. Or is there another way step by step I can do? I'd rather not have my clients jump through hoops installing other software, unless it was the only way.
January 22, 20242 yr Author I thought I'd update with a solution in case anyone else is in the same boat. I ditched Caddy and used Swag in the end. All working perfectly now. Edited January 22, 20242 yr by Hostile_18
