September 26, 20241 yr For some domains I receive a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN (e.g. for https://filezilla-project.org/). Is this the right place to ask for help to solve this?

December 6, 20241 yr DNSSEC should be defaulted to false for this template since it's handled by unbound
January 5, 20251 yr I have the docker working but two issues 1) Every restart of the docker and parts of it return to the default settings but not everything. I clear the password and every time I start the docker I need to clear the password again. The same is true of DNS settings -- they return to default. But any changes to privacy or Local DNS survive reboot of the docker. This is not a huge deal but I would like to resolve it if possible. 2) More important is I need to setup conditional DNS servers -- basically I want anything that is 10.1.1.0/24 to be sent to 192.168.2.100 but everything else to be sent to Unbound. How would I do that?
January 14, 20251 yr @TeddyTux The repository has been transferrred by cbcrowe to the new maintainer mpgirro ( https://github.com/mpgirro/docker-pihole-unbound ). Can you please update the template? Edited January 14, 20251 yr by bluebean
March 18, 20251 yr I don't think TeddyTux is around. He hasn't done anything on Github or here for awhile. I'm working on an updated docker-pihole-unbound template now and I'll message the CA mods to get it added when I'm done. Probably tomorrow.
March 31, 20251 yr Some news about an update of the docker template? It would be nice to use the new pihole 6. Edited March 31, 20251 yr by bluebean
March 31, 20251 yr @bluebean You already provided the docker hub repo (thanks btw!). I just updated my repo for pihole to this and have been using the latest version since you posted it. Edited March 31, 20251 yr by jinra
