January 20, 20242 yr I'm installing a 15-bay JBOD this weekend and will be moving the 8 data & 1 parity drives from the server chassis to the JBOD. I'm planning on doing a New Config so that I can put the drives in the layout that matches the JBOD slot. I also have 3 drives that I'm going to add, but I can do those after it's back up and running. So, in this case I should leave "Parity intact" option, correct? I know that if I had a 2nd parity drive it would rebuild that one.
