October 14, 201114 yr unRaid 5.0b-12 - I just set my shares up in this version. I can't see the Tower (server) in Windows 7 networks. In the SMB settings what should local master be set to on or off? What other settings should I make sure are set or correct to enable me to see the Tower under networks? Thanks..

I changed it to the workgroup name I use in Windows (Home, for example), and after rebooting both machines I can see the "tower" link under "Network" in Windows explorer. Expanding it shows the disks, the shares, and the flash drive; any/all of which I could choose to not show if I wanted.
October 15, 201114 yr The workgroup name must have the same value on the on the server as on the clients. If it does not work with local master off try it with local master on.
