March 5, 200818 yr Finaly got around to seting up my other machine. Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with a 3700 chip and 2 gigs of ram. It runs fine on the 4.2.1 version but it stops after decompresing the bzroot file. It does not get any further/ If I switch back to the 4.2.1 it boots up fine. Any ideas? thanks
March 6, 200818 yr You might request a copy of 4.2.2, and test it. That might help Tom isolate the change that affects you.
March 6, 200818 yr You might try downloading the 4.2.3 release once more... perhaps you had some corruption. I upgraded yesterday by copying just the bzimage and bzroot files to my existing flash drive. Release 4.2.3 booted up just fine for me. (I renamed the old bzroot to bzroot421 and the old bzimage to bzimage421 just in case I wanted to quickly revert back) Joe L.
March 7, 200818 yr Author Re-downloaded the files again. Same thing, it hangs after it finishes decompressing the files.. Will send Tom a note and see if he can give me the 2.2 files and see if that works thanks
