Cache is at 100%, with standard Shares being used

Featured Replies

Hello!  I apologize in advance, I have no idea what I need to help get this issue resolved.  I have a cache drive, that is currently pegged at 100%, well 99% now, after trying my best to delete files that I can find that I don't need on the drive.  I cannot get the mover to run at all.  When I run the Mover, it instantly says that it's finished.  I can do this in the GUI, or via command line, does not matter.  How do I get this resolved?

You can enable mover logging and look at the syslog why it doesn't do its thing. Probably open files.

Okay, I already enabled diagnostics, and several other things, still can't read what is going on.  I searched for "Error" and got nothing also

You are likely to get better informed feedback if you attach your system’s diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread. it is always a good idea when asking questions to supply your diagnostics so we can see details of your system, how you have things configured, and the current syslog.

Thanks for being kind and letting me know what I need to attach.  For the record, I have not changed anything in this setup, except try to move everything to the array, instead of using some sort of cache.  The Mover is still not working.  Currently, the majority of my Docker Containers are not working, and I have my VMs turned off.  tower-diagnostics-20240125-1810.zip

Thank you!  Can you screenshot where this cache=only setting is?  I saw posts about this, but I have no idea where to set that.

See the link above, now it's not called that, but all the settings are per shares, click on a share first.

So like this?  I have set this, ran the mover, and nothing changed.  Still at 100%, mover instantly stops.

I figured it out, I am an idiot.  I ran a Docker that downloaded 200gb of data without me realizing.  TreeSize helped me figure that out.  THANK YOU for all the help!
