macmann Posted January 27 Share Posted January 27 I currently have a 4U chassis holding an AMD motherboard and accessories. From there, I have 2 SFP cables going to a DELL MD1200 rack unit. It's been flawless for several years but now the fans are at full speed and I can't stand the noise. I don't care to troubleshoot what's wrong either. Who makes the BEST JBOD rack case for atleast 12 drives? My current setup is a 6GB throughput system. Does UNRAID support faster controllers now? Quote Link to comment
Vr2Io Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 For fan noise, you can replace some quiet fan to solve if you won't troubleshoot why full speed currently. For 12 disk, a single 6gb link already enough. No much selling point to make change. Quote Link to comment
