Process to add SSD to pool?

Featured Replies

When I installed unraid I had a 500gb nvme that I used as the pool.  It is formated XFS.  I now have another 2tb ssd that I would like to add and create a bigger cache.  Can someone explain to me the process of getting this work?

You cannot add a device to an XFS pool, XFS is single device only, you'd need to create a new btrfs or zfs pool.
