Server unresponsive and crash randomly after boot

Featured Replies

I've messed something up and I'm at a wall and hoping for some help. I attempted to add second drive to my cache pool as a mirror for appdata and system, and things started getting shaky afterwards. I've likely done more harm than good, but I've gone as far as to reset with Dynamix Factory Reset but keeping my array and cache pools. This was probably a bad idea, but lesson learned. I have backups, and I'm not too concerned about rebuilding, but I would really like to save the data on my array.

The system boots fine and the array starts without issue. It goes unresponsive a little while after boot. The last time, I thought things were fixed, but it crashed during a parity check. Attached are the diags, and below is a pastebin from my syslog server. This was running during the last crash. Its running memtest now. Any help or direction is super appreciated.

There seam to be UDP related issues, possibly some controller issues also, but that syslog is difficult to analyze, please update to v6.12.6, enable the mirror to syslog option and post the diags after a crash/reboot.

Thank you for the response. Memtest finished with a ton of errors. I tested again with some spare sticks and they passed. I'm currently running on the spares with no crash as of yet. I did upgrade and enable mirror to flash for syslog. I also updated the realtek driver after the update. So far things seem to be running. I think.

Could my only issue be the RAM, or should I be looking out for anything else?

It could, see how it works with that issue hopefully resolved.

No crash as of yet and things feel more stable now. I think(hopeful) it was only bad RAM. Thanks for the assistance!
