February 2, 20242 yr I have 1 10TB for my parity drive and (4) 4TB drives for data. One of my data drive is failing and needs replacement. I was thinking about reducing the number of 4TB drives I'm using, and maybe using a single 12TB or a 16TB. I know the parity drive needs to be at least equal or larger in size to the largest data drive. Is there a fairly easy way to do this? Use the 16TB as my new parity drive first.? Then replace (2) 4TB data drives (one at a time) with the 10TB drive?
