From what I can see, they were all complete hardware/software solutions weren't they? I don't think unRAID should/would fit into that categroy.

 

However, I'm sure a comment in Slashdot wouldn't hurt  :)

    I followed the link that bubbaQ posted, read the first paragraph and came to this statement, "Filled with 10TB or 12TB of raw storage, my test systems ranged in price from $1,699 to $3,799." That was enough for me so I closed the window and chuckled to myself.
