February 7, 20242 yr To Start, my setup is simple wired connection ISP>Router>Network Switch>UNRAID> Unraid-Server: 192.168.68.5 PCs:192.168.68.19 ISP: PPPoE Connection Based. Router: Deco X60 - Used as DHCP manager I've been constantly tackling on this issue, and I can't seem to resolve the following: 1) Intermittent Connection to Unraid Server (Locally) 2) Drives on Windows Computer would be disconnected Often - I looked into this thinking it was an SMB issue, but the drives were read/write fine before this issue occurred - SMB is Isolated from this issue and I lean towards more of a network issue. Things that changed before issue arrise: - I changed my ISP provider from (A Company) to (B Company). B Company is PPPoE base connection, I entered information in and internet works, but I can't see this being an issue as of now due to being lan. Bottom Line: I figured that it had to do something with the LAN, as I ping via local ip and all my packets don't go through, but not sure where to go on from here to diagnose. I suspect it could be hardware issue, Anyone have issues like this before? Can this be caused due to faulty hardware?
