teitur
I bought a U4 case from Inter-Tech, the 4U 4410. But unraid does not seem to pick up the drive bays. At least the disks are not appearing in unraid. Is there a special way to initialize the drives in the bays? Nvme disks are showing up just fine and I can use them in an array, but not in a pool without a array disk for some reason I don't understand. unraid-diagnostics-20240208-1048.zip Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted February 8 Solution Share Posted February 8 I assume they are connected to the onboard SATA controller? If yes there's no link, do you hear the disks spinning up? teitur
Thank you for your help. I unplugged the unraid USB. that's why it had those errors I guess. The case fans are to loud, cannot hear the disks. I installed windows and the disks did not show up there either. So it seems the solution was that have to have a SATA cable plugged into both SATA ports at the back of the adapter for the drive bay to work. I'm currently looking for another adapter that only needs one sata for two drives... Quote Link to comment
