Plex: Transcode Dolby Vision not possible - Workflow with Handbrake/alternative?

Hi there,

currently a bit struggeling with some Dolby Vision files, my TV does not support Dolby Vision (pink-green color deviations..). As far as i understood transcoding with Plex is not possible, due to a missing license in Plex. 

Since a few versions it seems that Handbrake is supporting Dolby Vision - so i can/have to transcode all affected files with more or less manually. Is there any preferable way for an automated workflow? (Basically I would look for something like "scan the directory for dolby vision files and automatically transcode them by handbrake or any other tool").

Do you have any recommodations/Ideas?
