October 24, 201114 yr COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M600 RS-600-AMBA-D3 600W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply $60 after MIR Fantastic deal on a modular PSU. 50A on the single +12V rail means support for 20+ green drives. Actually, this PSU is likely 40A, which means that it is suitable for up to 18 green drives.
October 24, 201114 yr Where do you see 50A? The Newegg page doesn't show any amperage specs and the video on Newegg says 34A. The Cooler Master product page says "up to 40A": http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2873 Up to 40A on a single +12V rail. I want to get a new Power supply that will support 24 green drives. I'm not sure this will do that.
October 24, 201114 yr Author In the 'close up' section of the manufacturer page it says 50A. However, you are correct that other places on that same page and Newegg contradict that figure. 40A sounds like the right figure to me, but I suppose we'll have to email Cooler Master to make sure.
October 24, 201114 yr It looks like the 700 Watt is up to 50 amps: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2874 It's available from CompUSA for $80 after MIR and free shipping: http://www.compusa.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=4434988&SRCCODE=LSCMPUSA&cm_mmc_o=-ddCjC1bELltzywCjC-d2CjCdwwp&AffiliateID=TnL5HPStwNw-W1r8RKjmoJkTiBpe0drbrQ
