February 11, 20242 yr I entered my activation key and it said error and didnt change to pro key. I then decided to restart to see if changes reflected but instead it is stuck on boot.

So I went into the bios to see it was already disabled and exited the bios without making any changes. After this bios exit, my unraid booted without issues, it wasnt getting stuck anymore. The only other thing I did was restart my pikvm, I dont know how that would be related to unraid though. So is a bad flash drive still a possibility after the above information?

I even went inside the BIOS like the last time where I thought it would fix the issue but it did not. Edited February 14, 20242 yr by mans_

And it also gets stuck here -- I have also tried all usb 2 and usb 3 ports on the rear side of the motherboard. It gets stuck in the same place in all the ports, so I don't think its bad ports. Additionally all other usb peripherals work fine. To make it boot into unraid Ill have to restart multiple times and be lucky that one time it may boot properly which happens rarely. Or ill have to leave the system turned off for a long duration, then come back and turn on to reboot without issues. Also, "sdb" is my unraid flash drive, if that helps. And I dont know where "protocol family" is which is another location where it is getting stuck, like shown in the above image.
February 14, 20242 yr Community Expert You have some posts on older threads. Does that mean you had it working before? Are you trying to passthru any hardware to a VM?

Older threads were for older hardware. I genuinely wanted to reboot to passthru hardware, but it got stuck. Anyway, the issue is with pikvm, whenever the EDID is messed up in pikvm, it makes unraid unbootable. I fixed the issue with pikvm and unraid booted well. Thank you for taking time to reply! @JorgeB @trurl

When I try to passthrough UHD770 intel igpu of i9-14900k the boot gets stuck here, I have verified this by not passing and not binding vfio for the igpu -- then in windows it shows it shows 770, the igpu but with a exclamation mark on it and when i try to install drivers, i get the error -- Any idea why this is happening and how to fix?
