Parity Sync 4ish MB/s (with Docker/VMs Disabled)

Featured Replies

Hello I have been having so many issues trying to figure out what is happening with my slowness for Paity Syncing. Obviously see my diagnostics I provided (no idea how to read them).

I have tried several different SATA Cables and settled on 3 of these

I also have a 12port Sata Controller listed below

Possibly Irrelevant details I thought worth noting about my setup.

I have one 22TB Parity Drive and the rest various 12TB seagate pro/enterprise/nas drives.

I have 2 Cache drives which cause me issues with the mobo connections which is why I switched to a controller.

I also have a 2TB HDD Backup drive just being used for like appdata backups and time machine backups etc.

I turned off docker and did 'mover stop' in my CLI and after 5ish minutes im getting I think good speeds. I think I didn't realize my mover was running after I shut off my docker and caused me some confusion. Thanks @JorgeB

You might want to consider installing the Parity Check Tuning plugin and using its option to pause any parity check while mover (or appdata backup) is running.
