March 10, 200818 yr I've seen little comment on 4.2.3. I was wondering if how many had already upgraded, and how many were waiting for more feedback. I upgraded tonight with no problem. There was a bit of a pregnant pause at the end of the boot sequence. It paused about 10-15 seconds before proceeding to the logon prompt. All seems to be working fine. For those having performance problems with the REALTEK LAN driver in 4.2.1 - did 4.2.3 fix the problem?
March 10, 200818 yr Just got 421 working good over the past few weeks, and I don't know that I am for sure seeing the issues that 423 addresses... I am eagerly awaiting the next Beta release and will strongly think about testing that, depending on the # of and types of things it add/fixes, or whatever. (any ETA Limetech?) SW2
March 10, 200818 yr I'm running 4.0. I tried upgrading to 4.2.1, it wouldn't boot, but since I didn't have a card/monitor hooked up to the system it was difficult for me to figure out what happened, so I just reinstalled 4.0 (successfully). When I have a chance, I'll try again. Since I value stability over features, this is not a problem for me. 4.0 has been rock-solid. Bill
