Should work well as a simple UPS for a single smaller server.  Has a USB connection, so it should work with the APCUPSD unMenu add-on.  The LCD screen also allows it to double as a power meter.

    The LCD is 450 Watts, the non LCD is 225 Watts. Using weight, the battery size is also half.

    Ah, good catch.  I misread the non-LCD's VA and took it to be wattage.
