Flash device has an invalid GUID

after updating to 6.12.8, I am getting this error: "This USB Flash device has an invalid GUID"  I am unsure how to fix this....

Also, the GUI is very unresponsive...  I've tried shutting down and rebooting, but I still get the same error.

    Check to see if the GUID is showing all zeroes, if yes, try using a different USB port, if it persists you will need to replace the flash drive, if it's showing what looks like a valid GUID, contact support and send them a screenshot from Tools - Registration.

    I ended up replacing the flash drive, and all is working normally again...
