October 28, 201114 yr Hi, I am new here, and i am trying to set up my 1st UNRAID. I come from windows and I am stuck here: I want to preclear all my disks, but I get te he message "Clearing will not be performed". I am not sure if it has to do with not having my disks containing a valid partition table. Anyone can help, pls? I attach screenshot and syslog.. October 28, 201114 yr You might also want to grab the new version of preclear_disk. It's up to 1.9 now. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2817.0
October 28, 201114 yr The current version is a least 1.13. Always check the version before you pre-clear.
October 29, 201114 yr He was using the most current version. 1.13 is newer than 1.9, and as of today, the newest version. On the other hand, the prompt does explicitly say (Capital "Y", lower case "es") That is on purpose, so you'll kick yourself even more if you accidentally clear the wrong disk as it takes more than a single keystroke error.
