February 17, 20242 yr What's the best way to upgrade the parity drives? I currently have 2x 10tb drives and I've picked up 2x 12tb drives. Do I just shut the server down, remove and replace the parity drives and have it do a rebuild? Or are there some settings / configs I have to change before I power the server down? Thanks all!
February 17, 20242 yr Community Expert You can do it one at a time or both together, both together increases the risk if there are errors on the data disks, but just need to connect the new drive(s), assign, and start the array.
