Senzless
I just tried updating from 6.12.6 to 6.12.8. After the update Unraid refused to boot back up. After a while of Troubleshooting. The OS finally came back up online but is missing the entire cahce configuration as well as on of the Array Drives. The Array states it is in normal operation and the missing Drives are listed as Unassigned Devices. When trying to add the Drives back to the array it says that all of its data will be erased. I already noticed some data to be missing. Is there any way of adding the drive to the array without erasing it? And also i am looking for a way to reuse the data on the cache drive. Looking for some help. Thanks in advance thor-diagnostics-20240217-1439.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
There are no array disabled/missing disks, suggesting the flash drive is using an older config, did you restore an older backup? You can still restore the array devices by doing a new config and re-syncing parity, pool devices can just be reassigned, but start/stop array first once to reset the pool. Quote Link to comment
Senzless
Thank you for your reply. I managed to get the Array as well as the Pool back up and running. I actually did not restore an backup of the flash. I even forgot to make one befor the upgrade. I guess i learned the hard way to make more backups.. But something broke during the Upgrade because i noticed that all of my installed Addons are missing and some can't even be reinstalled again. For Example the Parity Check Tuning: Quote plugin: installing: parity.check.tuning.plg Executing hook script: pre_plugin_checks plugin: downloading: parity.check.tuning.plg ... done plugin: downloading: parity.check.tuning-2024.02.15.txz ... plugin: parity.check.tuning-2024.02.15.txz download failure: Generic error Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
That looks more like a connectivity issue, can the server ping Google for example? Quote Link to comment
Senzless
Hi, sorry for the late reply. General internet access was working fine. I also could install other plugins. I guess there was somethimg wrong with my install. I did a reinstall on a new flash-drive migrated the licence and imported the array. Everything is working fine now. 1 Quote Link to comment
