Unraid doesn't show version number on banner and Update/Downgrade Page is empty

Featured Replies

Recently I updated my unraid server from 6.12.6 to 6.12.8, and after the update, the version number doesn't show up on the top left under the unraid logo as usual. And when I access the Update / Downgrade OS in the "Tools" page, both pages show nothing but an empty page. I tried to restart nginx but it doesn't solve the problem.

Have you rebooted your system?

If so you should post your system's diagnostics zip file in your next post in this thread to get more informed feedback.  It is always a good idea to post this if your question might involve us seeing how you have things set up or to look at recent logs.

I've rebooted the system but it didn't solve the problem. Diagnostic zip file has attached.

I also re-checked both the Update and Downgrade page and they only loaded contents from the local server and nothing from other domain(s).

Shame as that was the easiest thing to try.   First time I have heard of this issue so grasping at straws for suggestions and nothing stood out in the diagnostics.

Have you tried booting in Safe mode?   If that works then it would identify that a plugin is the cause.   If that works my first guess at a likely culprit would be theme engine plugin.

Connect plugin is an old release, upgrade to current ( or uninstall it).

Try booting in safe mode.

Will that tell me if it is a plugin? if so, How do I determine which plugin is the issue?  Sorry, I am very new to all this.  Thanks you for any help you can provide

If it works in safe mode yes.

Usually trial and error.

Hmmm, I just realized the update page shows up in Edge, but is not there in chrome.  So I assum its not a plugin, but something with Chrome perhaps?  Just guessing.
