[SOLVED] preclear "command not found" problem

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have just built my first unRAID server, components are:

Asus P8H67-M LE B3 mobo (8112 gLan)

G620 cpu

2Gb kvr 1333 ram stick (mobo approved)

Lexar echo ze flash drive

(2) WD green 2tb hd

I have tried both unRAID 4.7 and the latest beta.

I have run through the Configuration Tutorial but when I get to the preclearing stage I get the "command not found" error. I have downloaded, unzipped and installed the file in the root directory. When I do the "ls -l /boot" command the file is listed. I have tried with screen and putty, and with putty alone.

cd /boot

preclear_disc.sh /dev/sda

results in command not found

I did get a response from the "preclear_disc.sh -l" command ONCE out of the hundreds of times I have tried to get this script to work.

I have searched the forum but have had no luck finding the solution.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Jono.
