[SOLVED] Can't see non-windows devices in windows anymore..

Featured Replies

Solved: Apparently having 2 popcorn hour A200 connected to the same workgroup results in epic failure? Disconnected one.. everything worked.

Installed Beta13, had speed issues and just ended up doing a fresh install of beta12a. Now my non-windows 7 devices disappeared from under "Network" on my 3 windows 7 PCs. I can still access all devices, but this makes browsing annoying. I can access them from name and IP, so I don't believe it is a DNS issue. I believe this has to do with unRAID being the local master, however I disabled that and cold booted everything and it still doesn't work. This is driving me nuts!

I've tried:

1) Cold booting the router/modem

2) Cold booting every device on the network

3) Verified all devices are in the same workgroup.

Network Discovery is ON, all 3 computers have had no changes. They all see each other, but nothing else. They can all connect to them by \\devicename.

Any ideas? Doing a fresh install of unRAID makes network discovery not work on windows PC? I've tried every possible thing.. the issue makes no sense.

I'm unsure what you mean networking isn't my thing. They are all on the same router/modem and all devices are set to 192.168.0.1XX.

Update: This is getting wierder and wierder. I just found out that both my popcorn hours can't see the workgroup, nor can all my other devices.. but my Windows PCs on the same workgroup can see them and even transfer to them.

What the...?
