November 1, 201114 yr Basically if I transfer a 1.5GB file to my Media Share, with enabled cache disk the following pattern occurs: 70+MB until around 200MB, then oscillates between 10 and 80+MB/sec. Now I assume the first 200ish MB burst is down to it caching in the memory. How do I increase it so more than 200MB can be burst cached? Ideally 2GB would be perfect, but I think I'm limited by the 4GB I currently have (soonish to be 8GB). Anybody made any customisations to increase your burst write speeds? Cheers! Edit: Via AFP using 5b13.
