Random crashes after a hardware change

Featured Replies

Hi all

After a bit of help with a random crash after moving to new hardware: a bit of back story.

Syetsmes has build in this order

Intel(same usb)->AMD(same usb)-> Intel (usb got changed after 6y as it showed signs of ageing backed up form old usb) not to sure if that part will be relevant but worth mention as it is something thta has changed.

On the beginning had stability issues with memory however they got resolved by swapping for different modules, had a memtest running for 8h which was not possible with previous set or ram.

So, the issue starts after adding bunch of downloads to my torrent client, seems that when the interface gets busy it drops as I'm unable to ping the server or get to web Ui. All suggested docker changes have been made ipvlan, no bridging) as I thought it might be that but I had the server running with those changes for 1d17h and same thing happed but to matter worse sometimes it will work flawlessly after the change I have also enabled syslog to usb and it seems that I have manged to capture the moment it happens please see attached around 20:40 time stamp.

Worth mentioning that other functions are fine I can copy files of shares no problem.

I would greatly appreciate any pointers or tips on matter.

If issues continue you can try using an addon NIC.

I did spoted that thanks, by addon NIC do you mean the other built in card…my only worry was it’s a realtek card and given the bad reputation i dind’t want to inroduce more changes but I will give that a try. Thanks
