February 22, 20242 yr I recently switched my cache pool to ZFS after watching an SI video. To my surprise, I discovered that I can't take snapshots of the appdata folder using the ZFS master plugin, unlike to the other folders. Any idea what might be preventing me from doing so?
February 22, 20242 yr Community Expert I'm not really familiar with the plugin, but I assume it's not a dataset, likely why the icon is different, I believe the plugin now has an option to convert folders to datasets, suggest asking in the existing plugin support thread for how to do it.
February 26, 20242 yr Community Expert @MilkSomelier Stop docker service entirely, enable destructive mode in ZFS Master settings, click the action button > Convert to Dataset, then you also need to convert each individual appdata folder too or else you won't be able to restore individual docker appdata.
