Hello,

I've been running 4.5.6 for a while now, and haven't had any issues until now.  Unraid is great.

I was the only user in the house that needed access to the unraid server, so I didn't really need to mess with security settings.  I have built a pc for my son, and I would like to allow him to have access to my music collection.  I would like to keep him from writing to the share.

My question:  Is there a way to have a single share with one user having read/write access, and other read only?

Thanks in advance,

Luke

Simple security allows read-only shares. root can read/write using the password and all others can only read.

thanks, I just now figured it out.

I didn't see the "exceptions" box below the export rules.  ::)
