I've heard good things. For this price, it might be worth testing out. Of course the 720p output is a turnoff for most, but my TV is a 720p Plasma so it would be a good fit for me. If only I weren't already so happy with my SSD-based Zbox...
November 4, 201114 yr I have both Plex and XBMC installed and both work great. I love Plex on it because it keeps the native Apple TV look.
November 4, 201114 yr Author Good to hear! I've always heard that Plex is more mature and has fewer issues, but the price tag of the Mac Mini turned me off to it. The AppleTV brings it to the masses! Now if only there were a 1080p version...
November 4, 201114 yr you will have to wait to install Plex on any Apple TV2 that you purchase now. There is no untethered jailbreak for the iOS 4.4.2 which is the latest version running on the Apple TV2. Even with the tethered jailbreak, Plex is not supported. check the Plex Apple TV2 forum for more info. J
