parity trying to use old, removed drive

Featured Replies

I replaced a parity drive with a new disk, did parity sync successfully, rebooted the machine.

Upon reboot, parity says 'missing' and lists my old parity drive. If I were to add the drive I just parity synced , 'All existing data on this device will be OVERWRITTEN when array is Started'. So clearly it's recognizing the wrong disk as parity disk. Any idea what happened/how to fix?

That suggests a flash drive problem, but you can do a new config and check "parity is already valid" before array start.

This seems to have worked, thank you.
