February 27, 20242 yr The issue of USB sticks is an annoying one. They break every few months and you have no way of getting the system up and running in the shortest possible time. The longest time is needed to change the license via support. The restoration itself only takes a few minutes. Why is there no quick solution for this? I am currently having this problem again.

I wish you every success in finding a USB stick that is as high quality as your old sticks. The sticks used to be more expensive but the quality was good. Today it is very difficult to find good sticks. My test continues. However, I'm also considering switching to another solution where I don't have to contact support for the license transfer.
February 27, 20242 yr Community Expert There may be another option soon™. See here and the succeeding posts: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/119052-psa-on-sandisk-usbs/page/6/#comment-1378298

The products are not available in my country, but if this solution is more durable, I will order it with customs and taxes.

I agree with that, but you can still find good ones, personally I like the Sandisk Cruzer Blade 32gb, one of the few remaining USB 2.0 flash drives, and they've been very reliable for me.

Many thanks for the tip. At the moment I only have SanDisk Cruzer Snap (USB 2.0). I had read that they are supposed to be quite good. I've had them in my drawer for a while. But I have now also ordered one of the SanDisk Cruzer Blade.
