Creating new array always defaults to xfs despite having btrfs - encrypted in disk settings

Featured Replies

To get the Format button to appear, I had to start in maintenance mode and erase each disk.

I’m new to Unraid sorry.

I cannot reproduce this, note that after doing a new config the default fs reverts back to xfs, and I see you did a new config, could that have been the issue?

Yes, I did a new config. Then I set it to btrfs - encryted in disk settings.

I started in maintenance mode, erased the disks, stopped the array, started the array, formatted and I got xfs again.

Thanks.  Is there any way to reformat?

Thank you so much, easy when you know how :)
