And just like there have been two new releases of flaresolverr!, so perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel, if you have switched to byparr you may consider switching back to flaresolverr and seeing how it goes (ive done just that).

Thank you for taking on this docker container also! I already tried this container but the results are the same as for FlareSolverr. That is, it works as it should if I do not route the container through the qBittorrentVPN container. However, if the traffic is routed through the qBittorrentVPN container, getting/solving the Prowlarr test page (https://prowlarr.servarr.com/v1/ping) takes several minutes.

From Byparr console when traffic is routed through the qBittorrentVPN container, getting the Prowlarr test page utilizing the curl command takes only a few seconds. So, VPN is working but maybe there is something similarly wrong for both FlareSolverr and Byparr. @binhex, any ideas on this?

did you ever figure this out? mine is doing the same thing. When I do a test from prowlarr, it times out after the 180 seconds, but flaresolverr returns OK after 250seconds.

No, I did not and I did not receive any private replies. Maybe it is something with network config but I cannot figure it out. As said it works without VPN flawlessly but with VPN it takes very long. However, curl to the test page is very fast even with VPN.

Hello, I'm trying to install Flaresolverr on my Unraid NAS, I just kept the standard configuration except the network that I changed to my custom one (like I do for all my containers), but when I try to open the web UI, I got a JSON response : {"error": "Method not allowed.", "status_code": 405}

Is there a setting that I need to add to be able to reach the UI ?

Thanks in advance !

There is no webui for flaresolverr, its a CLI tool.

hi i dunno if this will work for my needs or not.. i installed flaresolver... i have Home assistant that runs Gas Buddy plugin.. and it always has cloudflare issues due to wanting it to use a browser;... the programmer of the plugin doesnt know how to use it in a proxy

but i just curious is there a way for the gasbuddy plugin connect to the flaresolver.. or link the home assistant? or the programmer has to figure it out?

Hi all,

I have multiple binhex containers sonarr, prowlarr, radarr etc all going happily through the binhex-qbittorrentvpn. I have replicated the network settings for flaresolverr but I continually get this error when going to test it within Prowlarr:

"Unable to connect to proxy: An error occurred while sending the request.. Check the log surrounding this error for details"

Reading the log for flaresolverr and it appears to be up and running and waiting for something to do.

@binhex , would you mind giving a breakdown of how you were using flaresolverr and byparr on the same network as privoxyvpn? Did you mean flarsolverr for example was using --net=container:binhex-privoxyvpn? If so, I cannot get this to work inside prowlarr. The privoxy is up but flaresolverr can never get through and times out.

I've tried the wireguard and openvpn setup with PIA and put port 8191 in the input, but to no avail. Am I misunderstanding?

Would love to understand what I'm doing wrong!

Recently migrated Unraid to a new USB drive(though not sure if its relevant; perhaps it was a problem earlier and I didnt notice) and since then it seems my binhex-flaresolverr container fails to connect to tailscale

These domains definitely dont seem to exist. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did some additional research and seems these domains were deprecated from the official mirrorlist for archlinux in december. So I'm guessing we need @binhex to rebuild the container with an updated archlinux which doesnt reference these domains in the mirrorlist.

Thanks for the explanation. I was worried I had messed up big time during updates. I'll wait for an update. I'm sure @binhex will fix this sooner rather than later.
Edit: FYI - this is for the topic of flaresolverr, but by own issues are with Sonarr, Radarr and Overseerr.

apologies for the delay, so much going on IRL right now, i have just created a new image which should refresh the base this image is built upon, please pull down latest and try again and let me know the outcome.

@binhex Completely understandable.

Yes, this has fixed the issue. Can you update sonarr and radarr as well with this fix? I dont show them as having an update, but they have the same issue. And I also see you just made this post, so perhaps its something you're already working and it just hasnt happened quite yet.

Thanks for getting this resolved.

Ok I see new images showing up for other of your apps. This does fix the issue with tailscale not installing; however, I am also seeing that the resolv.conf is setup in a way that it is breaking local docker network hostname resolution. The resolv.conf on these new images is:
```
# resolv.conf(5) file generated by tailscale
# For more info, see https://tailscale.com/s/resolvconf-overwrite
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
nameserver 100.100.100.100
search domain.ts.net
```

However on other containers where both tailscale and docker hostname resolution works, I have:
```
# Generated by Docker Engine.
# This file can be edited; Docker Engine will not make further changes once it
# has been modified.
nameserver 127.0.0.11
search domain.ts.net
options ndots:0
# Based on host file: '/etc/resolv.conf' (internal resolver)
# ExtServers: [100.100.100.100]
# Overrides: []
# Option ndots from: internal
```

Your binhex-prowlarr image has this latter resolv.conf.

i'm guessing this is just an issue with tailscale itself and whats its doing as the latter resolv.conf works and is directly from docker and the prior is getting done from the tailscale script. And your prowlarr tailscale wasnt running properly, thus why the resolv.conf didnt get updated.

So I think from anything you should be concerned with, everything is functional. Now to learn more about the tailscale and see what I may be doing wrong in configuration so the docker network stops working for hostname resolution.

Thanks again!

Hi everyone, I have most of my stack created by a docker compose so that the traffic will go trhough gluetun VPN.

The issue is that Prowlarr seems unable to contact Flaresolverr even if FS started fine.

There is some way to make Flamesolverr works while using Gluetun?

I have been running my binhex-flaresolverr behind my binhex-delugevpn container for some time. Just recently I noticed that it is failing to work with Prowler (also running via binhex-delugevpn). It results in a connection refused every time. If I move the binhex-flaresolverr out from behind the binhex-delugevpn it works fine.

I am a bit lost as to how to troubleshoot this as there isn't any useful logging showing why it fails.an

I can curl flaresolverr from my Prowlarr container just fine:

sh-5.3# curl http://192.168.xx.xx:8191

{"msg": "FlareSolverr is ready!", "version": "3.4.6", "userAgent": "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/143.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"}sh-5.3#
