Help. Webui keeps going down.

Featured Replies

I'm very new to this. I've only had this server up for a few weeks and it's been working fine until a few days ago, the webui keeps going down, it usually happens a few minutes after booting up the server. I guess it happens shortly after the docker and vm starts, and when it happens, I can still access docker apps, just not the unraid webui.

Only way to get back up is to reboot, and at first the only way I can do that was to press the power button, but now I've hooked up a monitor and I'm able to reboot with a command. Usually after a reboot it works fine, sometimes I have to do it twice.

I've done a memtest, completed 8 passes with no errors. I've reset the BIOS. I've looked at the syslog, but I don't realy know what to look for, I do see a lot of general protection fault and segfault but I don't know what to make of it. I'm just hoping someone on here can take a look at my diagnostics and can provide some insight.

I have the most recent diagnostics attached when it last happened. I appreciate any help.

Here's a snippet of the system log from the time this last happened.

Various apps segfaulting, start by running memtest.

I’ve run memtest and there were no errors after 8 passes.

Memtest is only definitive if it finds errors, try running with just one stick of RAM, if the same try the other one, that will basically rule out a RAM issue.

I'll try that this week. So far it's been working fine, I just don't want to power it down or reboot since the issue usually happens right after I startup the server.

I think I figured out what the issue was. A Disk Locations plugin update was causing the GUI to crash as also reported by other people. I've removed the plugin and have rebooted my system multiple times since and have not experience any crash. The plugin has supposedly been fixed now, but I have not reinstalled it yet.
