Balancing Data After Changing Split Level

Featured Replies

Hello! Total newbie here, sorry in advance.

When setting up my UnRaid "files" share, I accidentally set the split-level incorrectly, leading to the share filling only one drive, out of four.

I have just corrected my mistake and set the split-level accordingly, but the files are all still only on the one drive and were not moved when I changed the split level

The allocation method is set to "high-water."

Is there a way to spread out, or "balance" the existing data in the share between all of the drives, not just the one it is stored on now?

I would really appreciate any help that I can get on this issue.

Thank you so much!

Probably  nothing to do with split level

High-water is the default allocation method and for good reason.
