is it possible to run VM's on a separate cache to containers?

I am having some stability issues with my Windows VM.  I would like to run this on a dedicated NVMe cache so there is no other contention.  Is this possible?  If so, how would this be configured?

    Yes domains is the vm share, appdata is the container path. configs are normally stored in system for both.
