Parity drive won't start

Featured Replies

Hello,

This is a follow up from my previous post referenced bellow. This time, I have logs!

The drive in question is an USB one (I know, not ideal), I have replaced the USB cable since last time. Symptoms are the same as last time: parity drive won't start

Reference to my previous thread:

I ran short and extended SMART tests, no issues found.

Logs and diagnostics attached. I don't see anything bad related to the 'faulty' drive.

When restarting the array, the disk remains online for a couple of days and then disables. It has done it twice during the time covered in the syslog file, I don't have the exact day of failure unfortunately.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
