March 5, 20242 yr Hello, I'm unable to create a directory or write data to my array, even though there is still space left. I tried deleting data anyway to make more space but nothing helps. What could be the issue? serverh-diagnostics-20240305-1038.zip Edited March 5, 20242 yr by GuiH adding screenshots
March 5, 20242 yr Author Update: I seem to be able to write to disk1 and disk2, just not to the array. Cache is writable too. I did a filesystem check and had no error. Edited March 5, 20242 yr by GuiH
March 5, 20242 yr Community Expert Solution What share is it? You might want to check the Minimum Free Space setting for that share as you may find that is larger than the free space on any of your array drives. Working directly with the disk share bypasses that setting.

Working with disk share would bypass that indeed, but is it something safe to do in a docker mount?

That setting is covered here in the online documentation accessible via the Manual link at the bottom of the Unraid GUI. In addition every forum page has a DOCS link at the top and a Documentation link at the bottom. The Unraid OS->Manual section covers most aspects of the current Unraid release. If you do not set it then I think the current default is based on a percentage of the size of your largest disk.
March 5, 20242 yr Author Indeed, thank you for your response and all the information! I didn't lower it too much because I have a 100 Gb file currently in the array, but I freed some more space and it is working now.

This is not necessarily a reason to not lower it further! It just means that if in the future you get large files you need to copy it directly to a disk share.
