Server Crashes... I can't figure it out.

Featured Replies

Hi, I've been going back & forth trying to figure this all out. No issues forever and its been a crazy whirlwind. Everything is set to ipvlan (custom networks disabled, if that matters).

The server will be up for a few days and then randomly it can't stay up for even a few hours. Here's the latest crash logs & diagnostics.

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Any help in where I should be looking is 1000% appreciate. LMK if I'm missing anything else. Thx!!!

Quote from site: "Ryzen on Linux can lock up due to issues with c-states, and while this should mostly affect 1st gen Ryzen there are reports that 2nd and even 3rd gen can be affected in some cases, make sure bios is up to date, then look for "Power Supply Idle Control" (or similar) and set it to "typical current idle" (or similar)."

What you are describing fits this perfectly. Hope it helps.

Ok. Thx! Updating bios and we'll see. I'll report back either way.

EDIT: I updated the BIOS and the Idle Control had been set to Auto, so that changed now to "typical". I'll post an update in a couple days. If it doesn't crash over a 48hr period... then I'd assume we're g2g.
